The Answers

Is ordering secure, so that people cannot see my credit card details?

Yes.  We have taken great care to ensure that your order is safe and all of your order details are kept private.  Every step of the ordering process is secure, from top-to-bottom.  Without getting into a lot of technical jargon, the entire ordering process is encrypted, making it impossible to be intercepted and read by anyone else.

How does the "IMMEDIATE Download" option work?

The IMMEDIATE Download works like this: At the end of the ordering process you'll be taken to a page on our site where you can download the full version of the software that you purchased.  As a backup option, you'll also receive an e-mail containing instructions for downloading the software.

Please note: The IMMEDIATE Download is contingent upon your billing address matching the one listed on your credit card statement.  We do this to protect our customers, and ourselves, from credit card fraud.  If the billing address with your order doesn't match what's on file with your credit card company, you'll receive an e-mail from us with instructions on how contact us to complete the order.

I'm uncomfortable ordering online.  Can I order via phone?

How much does shipping cost for CD-ROM deliveries?

When you place a CD-ROM order we will ship it within 24 hours, or on the next possible business day.  For deliveries within the U.S., we offer three delivery options:

  • UPS Ground ($5.95) - Delivery within 2-5 business days.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air ($12.95) - Delivery in 2 business days.
  • UPS Next Day Air ($32.95) - Delivery on the next business day by 3:00 pm.

For shipping to countries outside of the U.S., we use U.S. Global Priority Mail®, which averages 4-6 day delivery to countries around the world.  Shipping to Canada is $8.95 and shipping to all other countries is $13.95.

When I place an order, will I be able to keep my existing data from the trial version that I downloaded?

Yes.  All of our products contain an import feature, which will import all of your existing trial data.  With Weight-By-Date Pro, for example, you'll be prompted to do this the first time you run the program.  With Gifts 'n Reminders your data is automatically imported, so no additional steps are necessary.

Do your products come with free technical support?

Yes!  We offer free technical support for all of our products.  E-mail support is available 24 hours a day, even on weekends!  You can also obtain support via telephone at (919) 303-3455 Monday-Friday, 9-6 PM EST.

How quickly will you respond to my technical support issues?

Did you know that a recent study reported that 42% of online companies take an average of 5 days to respond to customer support requests via e-mail?  Not with us!  Customer support issues always get the highest priority.  Expect a response from us within 24 hours, and in many cases we can get back to you in just a few hours.  We do this because we want to demonstrate our loyalty and commitment to our customers.

Is my personal information (credit card, e-mail address, etc) kept private?

We take customer privacy concerns very seriously.  This is why we adhere to a strict privacy policy, which states that your information WILL NOT, under any circumstances, be sold or given to a third party.  You will not receive spam e-mails, junk mail, or be contacted by solicitors as a result of placing an order with us.  Period.

How can I obtain the FREE program updates for my product?

After we complete an update, we will send you an e-mail containing instructions for downloading the it free of charge.  When you initially place your order you can choose not to receive these notifications, if you like.  If you want to check for an update manually, just choose "Program Updates..." from the File menu in the software.

I see an option to purchase an "Upgrade" on your ordering page.  What are Upgrades?

The Upgrade option is available for current customers that have an older version of the software.  For example, if you have Weight-By-Date 1.0 and would like to upgrade to Weight-By-Date 2.0, you can choose this option and save 50%.  Customers can also upgrade from Weight-By-Date to Weight-By-Date Pro, and save 50% as well.

Note that "Upgrades" and the free "Updates" are not the same thing.  An "update" contains bug fixes and in many cases adds a few new features.  These are usually issued every every 2-3 months and are free downloads for licensed users.  An "upgrade" is necessary when we have a major release, such as from Weight-By-Date 1.0 to Weight-By-Date 2.0.

Do you have an order form that I can print, so I can order via U.S. Mail?

Yes.  Just click here to view the order form in your web browser that you can then print, fill out, and send to us with your payment.

We accept the four major types of credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Card.

Do you accept Pay Pal as a method of payment?

No, we're sorry, but we do not offer Pay Pal as a payment option.

What sets you apart from the other software companies?  What can you do for me that the others don't?

For starters, we will not treat you as a "number".  When you contact us via e-mail, we will actually READ your message and take the time to give you an informative, helpful reply -- not just a "boiler-plate" response with your name inserted at the top of the message.  When you call us for help, you will be treated with respect and courtesy, and you WILL NOT sit on hold for hours, waiting to talk to a "live" person.
